I think I play this game a bit too much, haha.
I have now beaten the game on my RAmar and my HUcast. The final bosses were much more difficult on my HUcast than they were on my RAmar. I actually ended up leveling him up some with Yves's HUnewm, and even more when I power-leveled his FOmar.
This morning, after finally beating the last mission, I decided I would try out a hard mode field with the NPCs-- Sarisa, Reve, and Kai, since all three can heal, and that's really their only purpose for me.
I managed to get two levels just doing the snowfields on hard mode once, and the drops get way better in hard mode. It wasn't surprising, but it was certainly nice. I got a sweet rare rifle for Eruntalo to use, and I already passed it to him. I had 24 Digrinders ready and it's only one Digrinder away from maxing out. Then, I may put some sort of element on it, and even might fortify it against machines or dark. We'll see.
Anyway, here is is:
Eruntalo: LV29 RAmar
JCK-8009: LV34 HUcast
Akarui: LV1 FOnewm

Log 1
Yves and I played for quite a while last night. We started as level 1 guys and just went out, since no quests were available due to lack of progression in Story Mode.
It was tough at first, since all the starting areas are actually intended for free play after you have done quests, but we got though and beat the first three areas multiple times, ultimately reaching level 11.
We then realized that if we really wanted to enjoy the game, we were gonna have to play story mode to unlock all the of the areas, as well as unlock different difficulty modes.
As a result, we have gone off on our own, and will return to playing with each other once we have completed story mode on these characters.
Well, I am now on the final stage on Eruntalo, my RAmar. I couldn't beat the final-final boss, not after fighting Mother Trinity, but I've gone back and leveled some, and even got a sweet HP regen drop, so that may make things easier. Unfortunately, I still have to go back through the quest before fighting them. I suppose I'll get another level.
Anyway, here's the current situation:
Eruntalo: LV27 RAmar
JCK-8007: LV15 HUcast

Today's the day!
Earlier today, I went to GameStop and bought my copy of Phantasy Star Zero. I've made two characters-- the RAmar that I mentioned before, named Eruntalo, and a HUcast named JCK-8009. I played a bit on my HUcast to get a feel for the game, and now I am waiting for my friend Yves to get home so that we can begin playing together. I'm excited!
I spent a while having trouble with the camera, but I realized that the L button handles that. Unfortunately, my DS's L and R buttons are a little less responsive than they were originally, but it's not so bad that it's intolerable.
The other thing I noticed on my HUcast is that his health regenerates as he walks around. I hope human characters work the same. It's nice.

Introduction
I have decided that I am going to make a blog about my adventures playing Phantasy Star Zero. One of my good friends and I are going to be playing a pair of characters together.
He is buying the game tomorrow, which means I am, as well. I've been holding off from buying it so that I don't play it too much.
Our planned characters that we will play together are:
Me: RAmar
However, I may change to RAcast, since I've never played an android on PS games before. What I'll probably do, though, is play HUcast solo.
